2025 Spring Retreat

May 24, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 4:30 pm

Please join us for the TMC 3-day Spring Retreat!

Days 1 and 2: A 7 Point Mind Training Meditation Retreat is based on the classic Tibetan Buddhist teaching called Lojong, or “Mind Training,” attributed to the 12th-century master Geshe Chekawa. The practice is designed to cultivate bodhicitta—the awakened heart—and transform challenges into opportunities for spiritual growth.

Day 3: A retreat on this topic would involve contemplative meditation, teachings, and practical application. The Heart Sutra (Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya Sūtra) is one of the most famous and profound texts in Mahayana Buddhism. It’s a short but powerful teaching on the nature of emptiness (śūnyatā) and wisdom (prajñā), and is often chanted or studied in meditation retreats, especially those related to Lojong and the 7 Point Mind Training.

TIMES: Morning Session 9a – 11:30a, Afternoon Sessions 1:30p – 4:30p

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR IN-PERSON OR ZOOM PARTICIPATION.
