In this class we will engage in teaching, discussion and meditation.  This class will prepare you to begin several types of meditation practice. All of these meditation practices are aimed at opening our hearts to compassion and wisdom.  We will explore calm-abiding meditation and Tonglen meditation. Tonglen, or giving and receiving, is a practice of great compassion.

Currently, Tim is teaching from Pema Chodron’s book Start Where You Are: A Guide to Compassionate Living.  We will have copies of the book available at the Dharma Center. Please feel free to join this class at any time!
