RETREAT PROGRAM DETAILS

May 24 & 25: A 7 Point Mind Training Meditation Retreat is based on the classic Tibetan Buddhist teaching called Lojong, or “Mind Training,” attributed to the 12th-century master Geshe Chekawa. The practice is designed to cultivate bodhicitta—the awakened heart—and transform challenges into opportunities for spiritual growth. A retreat on this topic would involve contemplative meditation, teachings, and practical application

May 26: The Heart Sutra (Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya Sūtra) is one of the most famous and profound texts in Mahayana Buddhism. It’s a short but powerful teaching on the nature of emptiness (śūnyatā) and wisdom (prajñā), and is often chanted or studied in meditation retreats, especially those related to Lojong and the 7 Point Mind Training.
